Airport - The Johannesburg International
Airport (JIA) sees over 13 million passengers come
through its airport every year. In Southern Africa
it is the air transportation hub. It is also Africa's
busiest airport. Over 18,000 people of the area are
employed by the airport, which makes it a major part
of the city's economy.
There are so many things inside this airport like
shops, places to dine and much more. If you forgot
anything on your trip you will be able to find it
in one of the many stores in the airport. There are
business services and banking facilities for your
convenience, as well as a chapel, too. They basically
have you covered no matter what you are in the need
of. There are also Information Stations
located throughout the airport if you are in need
of any assistance they will be able to help you.
There are taxis, limousines and rental cars that will take you to and from the airport. Please also check with your hotel as they may include a shuttle back and forth from the hotel. These are included in the room fees so be sure to ask them.
